I can’t seem to figure it out. I just want to go to the gym. I feel like I’m going to run out of steam before I even get started. I think my ears are clogged because I overwork myself. I’m sure I’m not the only one who works out for that reason.
Workouts are supposed to get your body moving, but the problem with overworking is that your brain doesn’t move with it. Your brain does all sorts of things to keep it moving. It keeps your hand moving, your heart racing, and your muscles moving. But when your brain isn’t moving, it can actually slow you down.
The most common reason I hear is that I’m too focused (or not focused enough) and my brain is trying to tell me something. I know I am supposed to move more, but I feel like my brain is telling me I need to move slower.
I think this is a great reason for headphones. In general, we all know that our brains are constantly telling us to slow down, but there is a fine line between slowing down and being off-task. We all know that if Im in a place where my brain is telling me to slow down, I should slow down. But if I can tell my brain that I am doing something, I should do it.
If your brain is telling you to do something, you should do it, but if your brain is telling you to slow down, you should slow down. I have used ear plugs for many years, but after being overweight for years I had to give them up. The feeling of actually having to do something we wanted to do but wanted to slow down is very, very good.
