Masthead

Last updated: 25 July 2026

The masthead sets out who is responsible for 2 Forks Events and the standards our work is held to. It is a companion to our Team page and, together with our editorial policies, forms the public record of how this publication is run.

An honest note. As a newly launched publication, our masthead currently describes editorial roles, responsibilities, and standards rather than listing individual names. We will not publish invented names or credentials. Named editors and contributors appear here and on the Team page as they join, with real, verifiable backgrounds. Until then, work is published under the 2 Forks Events Editorial byline, with a person on the desk accountable for it.

Publisher

2 Forks Events is an independent event discovery and planning publication. It covers music events, weddings, parties, corporate events, catering, local event discovery, seasonal events, and industry news. It is not a ticketing platform, wedding-vendor marketplace, venue directory, or event-planning service. The publication is registered in Vienna, Austria (Schrickgasse 17, Wien), and serves a global English-speaking audience.

Editorial structure

Coverage is organised around eight verticals — Music Events & Concerts, Wedding Planning, Party & Celebration Planning, Corporate & Business Events, Event Catering, Local Event Discovery, Seasonal Events, and Event Industry News — overseen by an Editor-in-Chief who holds overall responsibility, and coordinated by a Managing Editor responsible for workflow, fact-checking, and corrections. Each vertical has clear ownership so standards are applied consistently. The responsibilities of each role are described on our Team page.

Our standards, in summary

Editorial policies

The standards above are set out in detail across our policy pages: our Editorial Policy, Ethics Policy, AI Content Policy, Corrections policy, Affiliate Disclosure, and Sponsored Content Policy.

Ownership and funding

2 Forks Events is independently operated and free to read. Where it is supported commercially, it is through affiliate commissions (FTC-disclosed), clearly-labelled sponsored content, and light advertising — not through client-solicitation, paid guest posts, or coverage disguised as editorial. Our commercial standards are on our Advertise and Sponsored Content Policy pages.

How to reach us

General editorial enquiries and event tips: editorial@2forksevents.com. Corrections: corrections@2forksevents.com. To contribute, see Write for Us. This masthead will be updated as the publication grows — as named editors and contributors join, as coverage expands, and as standards develop. It is intended as an honest, public account of who we are and how we work, and we hold ourselves to what it says.

Editorial independence in practice

Independence is easy to assert and harder to practise, so it is worth being concrete. Advertisers and sponsors have no role in deciding what we cover or how; they do not see articles before publication, and they cannot obtain favourable coverage or the removal of unfavourable coverage. Affiliate partners and ticket platforms do not influence our recommendations. Sponsored content is clearly labelled and kept distinct from editorial. We do not publish promotional coverage dressed as journalism, we do not sell guest posts, and we do not list the site on paid guest-post marketplaces. If any content ever reads as advertising in disguise, that is a failure of our standards, and we want to hear about it.

Complaints and right of reply

We take complaints about our coverage seriously. If you believe an article is inaccurate, unfair, or falls short of our standards, write to editorial@2forksevents.com setting out your concern and any supporting source. We review it, correct genuine errors through our Corrections process, and, where fairness requires, offer an appropriate opportunity to respond. Disagreement with our opinion is not the same as an error of fact, but we would always rather engage with a serious objection than ignore it.

Our commitment to readers

The purpose of a masthead is accountability: to say plainly who is responsible for a publication and what it can be held to. Our commitment is that our coverage will be accurate, honestly framed, independent, and open to correction; that affiliate and commercial arrangements will always be disclosed; and that we will be transparent about who we are, including that, as a young publication, our named masthead is still being built.

Publication details

2 Forks Events publishes at 2forksevents.com. Editorial contact: editorial@2forksevents.com. Corrections: corrections@2forksevents.com. Registered address: Schrickgasse 17, Wien, Austria. Our full editorial standards, disclosure policies, and legal terms are available through the pages linked above and in the site footer, and this masthead is reviewed and updated as the publication grows.

A living record

This masthead will change as the publication does — as named editors and contributors join, as our coverage expands across the eight verticals, and as our standards develop with the field. It is intended as an honest, public account of who we are and how we work, and we hold ourselves to what it says. We would rather earn a reader’s trust slowly, through accurate coverage, honest disclosure, and openness to correction, than claim it through a polished but fabricated front. If our work ever falls short of the standards set out here, we want to hear about it, and we will put it right.
